The Mercedes Convention
Josh and I felt like millionaires this past weekend, as we had two Mercedeses under our roof. That's right, Little Mercedes and Big Mercedes met face-to-face. Danny showed his soft spot for girls named Mercedes, as he graciously walked a fussy Little M around for the better part of Saturday evening. I think she was hoping the special treatment would continue after Mercedes and Danny left, because Little M fussed her heart out Sunday night!

Six Months Old!
The babies are officially six months old today. All those people who told us that time would fly were correct... I guess cliches are cliches for a reason!
Here are their current stats:
Orlando - 18 lbs, 4 oz; 26 inches long
Mercedes - 14 lbs, 15 oz; 24.25 inches long
Reese - 17 lbs 12 oz; 26.5 inches long

Almost There!
Lando is working hard on rolling over from back to front. He's a bit peeved that Mercedes actually mastered this move already. He's almost always first!
Our Girl
She does have her diva tendencies, but when Cedes chooses to grace us with a smile, it makes it all worth it!
Sharing
Lando and Reesie spent some time learning the old fashioned art of sharing. They figured if they had to be dressed in matching dorky sweatsuits, they should band together.

He shoots... he scores!
With a sudden jerk of his head to the left at precisely the right moment, Lando was able to puke on my cheek and down the front of my T-shirt while avoiding the burp cloth entirely.
The Florida!
Orlando got to hang out with Grandma and Grandpa Hoelzle for New Year's Eve. Sadly, they had to return to the great white north so Grandma Judy could go back to work. Orlando missed them so much that he asked us to re-enact Grandma Judy's favorite baby fashion... the Florida.
For those not familiar with this up and coming style, gentlemen of a certain rotund figure must make a difficult fashion choice... do they fasten their pants above their portly bellies (the Florida) or use a heavy-duty belt to secure their pants below (the Texas)?
Rose and I kept finding the boys with their pants hiked up to their armpits, and we weren't sure what was happening until we witnessed Grandma Judy at the changing table fighting gravity with all her might.
Hop 'n Pop
Reese really enjoys the Hop 'n Pop! Mercedes decided it was a better chew toy than anything else.
