Mercedes was moved to a crib today. The nurse also asked us to bring in her car seat to be tested. She gained about four ounces yesterday and another three ounces today. I couldn't believe it, but I saw the nurse weigh her. She actually weighed her twice to make sure it was accurate. She said they used two different scales last night to verify the weight gain... She is amazing.
At this rate, Mercedes could be home by the end of week. That snuck up on me. I thought that we would have at least another two weeks before she made the trip home. She just surpassed four pounds this weekend. They must put fertilizer in her formula.
