Mercedes and Reese started on the Bilirubin lights today. Orlando will probably have to go under the lights tomorrow. The lights help with the babies' jaundice.
All of the babies are improving. Orlando started gaining weight today. The doctor increased the amount of milk he is receiving.
Mercedes also gained weight today for the first time. She is also getting an increase in food.
Reese started getting fed today. The volume on the high flow cannula was reduced today as well. The doctor said that Reese would be moved down with Mercedes and Orlando just as soon as a room opens up! We just need him to start gaining weight too.
Rose is staying an extra night in the hospital. For unknown reasons, her blood pressure has not gone down. I think she may be just a little stressed out. I can't imagine why. Hopefully, the doctor will figure out the right dose of medication so that she can come home. I miss her.
Congratulations! All of us on Wonderly Avenue are happy to hear the babies are doing well. Thanks for posting all the pictures; we look forward to seeing lights on across the street again. Sounds like on September 4 we may see lights on all night. :)
